The City of New Port Richey is excited to offer our new and improved online bill pay system. This new portal provides peace of mind with secure and reliable payment options, the ability to schedule payments in advance, and much more.
This new payment platform has many new features and benefits for you, our valued customers. With this upgrade you will be able to:
- Pay your utility bills online anytime 24/7 via the easy-to-use online portal.
- Set it and forget it with AutoPay using your credit/debit card or online bank checks.
- Pay by text to get notifications about your bill and pay directly from your mobile device when you are on the go.
- Pay over the telephone using a landline or mobile device using our 24/7 automated Pay by Phone feature (no need to wait on hold or speak directly to staff).
Please Note: As part of this upgrade, a 2.95% service fee will be added to all credit card and debit card transactions including AutoPay. Phoned in payments will only be taken through our automated IVR phone payment system, and will incur an additional $0.50 fee.
The City of New Port Richey is committed to ensuring customers have a no-cost electronic method of payment available. All automatic bank ACH transactions using checking or savings account will be at no cost to you. Of course, no fees will apply for cash or personal checking transactions as well.
AutoPay – Go Green
Save time, money and help the environment all at the same time! Have your utility bills paid automatically each month by authorizing the City to electronically withdraw payments from your checking or savings account on the due date each month. This service is provided absolutely FREE. No postage, no envelope, no check, no late payments, no hassles. Simply go online at http://citynpr.org, click Bill Pay in the lower left hand side of your screen, click Pay Bill Now, and Register Now. Once you sign up, your payment will pull your very next bill. It’s just that easy!
Pay Utility Bills Online
- You can pay your bill online 24/7 with your credit/debit card for a nominal service fee of 2.95%. You may also make a one-time payment using your e-check with a service fee of $1.50. The City of New Port Richey accepts electronic check, American Express, Visa, Master Card, PayPal, PayPal Credit, Venmo, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. While online, you can set your account up for recurring credit card payments and your balance will pull from your selected payment method on the due date each month.
- You can also pay by text! This gives you complete control and allows you to pay while you are on the go. You will receive a text when your bill is ready to be viewed, a reminder text two days prior to the due date, and you can pay with the click of a button on your phone after you have chosen your method of payment. If you forget, you will also receive a text two days after the due date to remind you the balance is past due. Your information is kept confidential, secure, and backed by the highest security standards.
To sign up, you will need your account number and customer number found in the upper right-hand corner of your bill.
Phone
Credit card payments can be made 24/7 for a nominal service fee of 2.95% by calling directly to our Interactive Voice Response system at (727) 605-8005 or by calling (727) 853-1061. To locate your account, You will need to enter your account number and customer number found in the upper right-hand side of your bill followed by #. You can also choose to use a check to make a one-time payment for a fee of $1.50. There is no need to wait on hold or for a return phone call as payments are accepted anytime, night or day at your convenience.
Drop Box
Payment can be made by check or money order at our convenient drop box located on the west side of City Hall in the drive through lane off of Jefferson Street. We also have a drop box in the lobby of the Billing and Collection Office if you are on the go and can’t wait for a Customer Service Representative. Please put your payment in a sealed envelope with your account number and customer number so we can apply it to your account. Payments left in the drop box overnight will be applied to the account in the morning of the next business day.
By Mail
You can pay by mail using a check or money order (Please do not send cash through the mail) by mailing your payment along with your payment stub from the bottom of your bill to:

Please Do Not Send Cash in The Mail Receipts will not be sent for mail payments; your canceled check will serve as your receipt. Please do not send starter checks. All returned checks will incur additional charges.
Amscot
You can also pay you bill at any Amcsot with your account number and customer number. Amscot charges a fee of $2.50 for this service.
In-Person
You are always welcome to stop by the Billing & Collection Office in City Hall at 5919 Main Street New Port Richey, FL 34652. We accept cash, check, and money orders with no service fees. We also accept credit card payments for a nominal service fee of 2.95%. The Billing & Collection Office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
