Subject: PUBLIC MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT, Grand Boulevard (CR 595) Bridge over Pithlachascotee River/Bridge Replacement Project in Pasco County / RSQ-KM-22-178 / Public Meeting on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Pasco County and the City of New Port Richey invites you to attend and participate in a public meeting on August 27, 2024, regarding the Grand Boulevard (CR 595) Bridge over Pithlachascotee River/Bridge Replacement Project in Pasco County/RSQ-KM-22-178. The existing bridge, built in 1957, requires replacement. The proposed bridge will be similar to the length and width of the existing bridge and in the same location, however, the bridge deck will be raised approximately 3.3 feet to match the elevation of the Main Street Bridge and provide more clearance for boats. The new bridge will be designed to provide two travel lanes separated by a 4.5-ft wide center median, 10-ft wide sidewalks and an 8.5-ft wide area for landscaping/seating along both sides.
A Community/Stakeholders Public Meeting to introduce the Project is scheduled for Tuesday, August 27, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the City of New Port Richey City Hall, located at 5919 Main Street, New Port Richey, FL. The meeting format will be open house with no formal presentation and will take place in the City Council Chambers. This will be an opportunity for you to obtain specific information and to ask any questions you may have regarding the Project.
