Auto-Pay–Go Green
Save time, money and help the environment all at the same time! Have your utility bills paid automatically each month by authorizing the City to electronically withdraw the payments from your checking or savings account on the due date each month. No postage, no envelope, no check, no late payments, no hassles, and it is FREE! To start your Auto-Pay service, please complete and submit the attached form by mail or in-person and include a copy of a voided check or voided savings deposit slip. It is that simple. Please note that it may take one or two billing cycles for this service to go into effect so please continue to make regular payments until your bill indicates it is being withdrawn from your account.
Pay Utility Bills On-Line
You can pay your utility bill online 24/7 without incurring any processing charges at this time. To make your payment online or set up your online account visit our On-Line payment page. If you are registering your account for first time access, please click the Create Password link to start the registration process. While at the site, you can also view your summary account information. All information is encrypted. Payments received after normal business hours will be processed the next business day. Please have the following information ready before you login:
1. A copy of your bill as you will need your account number
2. Credit card type, account number and expiration date

Credit card payments can be made via phone by calling 727-853-1061 during normal business hours (Mon-Fri, 8:00 am-5:00 pm). Payments can be made using your Visa, American Express or Master Card (Discover Card not accepted at this time) The total balance must be paid and payments will be processed the same day. When making your payment, please have the following information ready:
1. A copy of your bill as you will need your account number
2. Credit card type, account number and expiration date
Please remember that you can avoid waiting and extra fees by making your credit card payment on-line.
Outside Drop Box
Another secure option for making payments 24 hours a dy is to use the drop box at City Hall. The drop box is located on the west side on the building (Jefferson St) closest to Main St. Payments made after 2:00 pm will be processed the following day. Please note the following guidelines for your own safety and security:
Pay by check or money order only–cash or credit cards may not be used.
Be sure to include the remittance portion of your bill so we have the correct account number and put it in a sealed envelope with your payment.
Payments must be in the drop-box before 8:00 am of the day following the due date to avoid a late fee.
Receipts will not be sent for drop-box payments-your canceled check or money order copy will serve as your receipt. You can also go online to view your receipt the following business day.
In-Person
You are always welcome to stop by the Billing & Collections Office in City Hall (5919 Main St, New Port Richey, FL 34652) to make your payment, find out what’s going in town, etc. Cash, check, and money order payments are always welcome during regular business hours (Mon-Fri, 8:00 am-5:00 pm). For extended hour payments, try the New Port Richey Library next door to City Hall (Mon-Thurs, 10:00 am-8:00 pm, Fri-Sat, 10:00 am-2:00 pm). Please bring the following information with you so that we can serve you as quickly as possible:
A copy of your bill
Cash, check or money order made out for the amount of the payment
Remember—you can save time and avoid lines by using auto-pay or by making credit card payments on-line.

Please do not send cash. Receipts will not be sent for mail payments-your canceled check or money order copy will serve as your receipt. Please do not send starter checks. There is always an additional fee for checks returned for any reason. You can save time and the expense of mailing by taking advantage of Auto-Pay or On-Line services.
