Police Operations Division

Lieutenant Chris Mellecker is the Operations Division Commander, which consists of the Patrol Division, Criminal Investigation Division, Victim Advocate, Special Operations Unit, and the Auxiliary/Part-time Police Officer Program. Lt. Mellecker is also responsible for overseeing the Police Department's involvement with special events scheduled in the city.

Some of the Police Officers assigned to the Operations Division participate as specially trained tactical and hostage negotiation members of the county-wide Unified SWAT Team.
