Deputy Police Chief Lauren Letona

Lauren LetonaLauren Letona began her law enforcement career in 2002 as a Police Officer with the Pinellas Park Police Department. During her time there, she held several positions, including Patrol Officer, Training Officer, Field Training Officer, Explorer Advisor, Instructor, and Citizen Police Academy Coordinator. She was also assigned to the Office of Professional Standards. Letona retired from the Pinellas Park Police Department in December 2012 and was sworn in as a Police Officer with the New Port Richey Police Department in January 2013. She was promoted to Corporal in 2015 and served as the department's training coordinator. In January 2016, she was promoted to Lieutenant and supervised the Administration Division. Currently, Deputy Police Chief Letona holds two Associate's Degrees in the Science of Law Enforcement as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration. In 2020, she was promoted to Deputy Police Chief for the City of New Port Richey.
