The New Port Richey Recreation & Aquatic Center is a 35,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility located at the edge of Downtown New Port Richey in West Pasco County Florida. It offers a variety of affordable recreational activities and athletic training opportunities for everyone, of any age. With programs for children, seniors, and adults, this facility has become an integral part of the fabric of our community.

Volunteer Opportunities

We are always accepting volunteers to assist with programs, special events, leagues, camps, and daily operations. Applications are available at the front desk. Volunteer opportunities are open to individuals starting at age 13.

The New Port Richey Recreation and Aquatic Center provides a series of athletic amenities to our community members. A day pass or membership will give you access to the following amenities:

1. Two indoor, full court gymnasiums with wood flooring for basketball and pickleball.
2. Fitness center with state-of-the-art cardio, strength training equipment and free weights.
3. Indoor playground open play (adult supervision required).
4. Heated lap pool open year-round.
5. Plunge pool with huge two story 128-foot-long water slide (Subject to seasonal closure).
6. Dive pool with two one-meter boards (Subject to seasonal closure).
7. Kiddie pool with zero depth entry, kiddie slide, spray fountain and sail shaded area (Subject to seasonal closure).
8. Four outdoor tennis/pickleball courts (day pass not required).
9. Two outdoor basketball courts (day pass not required).
10. Outdoor skate park (day pass not required).
11. Dance studio with ballet bars, mirrors walls and wood flooring for classes (classes require an extra fee unless otherwise stated).
12. Newly renovated lockers and restrooms (Lockers are only for day use and required a personal lock).
13. Concession area (Subject to seasonal closure).
14. Free Wi-Fi hotspot.
