Summer Programs

Summer Camp
Summer Camp is a seven-week program from June 20 through August 5 for children ages 5 through 13 (birth certificates are required for registration). The camp will be Monday through Friday from 7:30 am until 5:30 pm. The cost per week is $50 for City resident children and $60 for non-resident children. Summer Camp will have arts and crafts, scavenger hunts, movie days and so much more. Summer Camp field trips are available weekly for an additional fee any child may participate.

Aquatic Camp
Aquatic Camp is a two-week program from July 12 through July 22 and is for children ages 11 through 14. Camp hours are Tuesday through Thursday from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm, and Fridays from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. There will be a field trip each Friday. The cost is $200 for the two week program. Aquatic Camp is designed to build endurance, promote exercise, and teach water safety, along with the duties and responsibilities of a lifeguard. This course does not certify anyone to become a lifeguard. Call Chris at 727-841-4560 for more information!

Registration for both programs will begin on Friday, April 11 for City residents and Monday, April 18 for non-residents at the New Port Richey Recreation and Aquatic Center, 6630 Van Buren Street. Summer Tennis Camp for Children
This camp is for children ages 6 through 14, and all abilities are welcome. Campers will work on developing correct strokes through small group based play, drills and games. We use appropriate equipment based on age and size. Racquets are provided for those who do not have their own, and all other equipment is provided.

The camp weeks will be June 20-24, July 11-15, July 25-29, and August 1-5. The daily schedule will be tennis from 8:30 - 11:00 am, and swimming from 11 am - 12 pm. The cost is $125 per week, or $30 per day. For more information or to register, contact Christina Hill at (727) 375-7678 or at
