  13. The City of New Port Richey's 90th Birthday Celebration!

    Come celebrate the 90th birthday of the founding of the City of New Port Richey on Monday, October 27! The fun starts on Friday, October 24 with special pricing at downtown stores and establishments. The actual date of the City's incorporation in 1924 was October 27, and The West Pasco Historical Society will be open beginning at 1:00 PM. At 2:00 PM, enjoy free classic films at the Richey Suncoast Theatre, and experience a historic City tour on the KIA trolley at 3:30 PM. Watch Mayor Marlowe officially close the time capsule and cut the birthday cake at 5:30. Admire classic cars, enjoy live music, and browse the displays in Railroad Square!

  1. Gearlink Cup Bicycle Race

    October 4, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM @ Downtown New Port Richey

    Amateur bicycle racing at its best, sanctioned by USA Cycling Masters races, Junior races, Men's races and Women's races all day long. The only thing more FUN than being in a bike race is being a spectator at a bike race. Grab a spot at any location around the course and watch as hard-charging cyclists race past at speeds close to 30 miles per hour. Watch all the action and the thrills and spills as cyclists vie for the coveted GearLink Cup and other cash prizes and awards.

  2. Cotee River Bike Fest

    October 10, 5:00 PM - October 12, 7:00 PM @ Sims Park

    A three day motorcycle festival in Downtown New Port Richey with live music and numerous vendors.

  3. Trunk or Treat

    October 18, 4:30 PM - 9:30 PM @ Sims Park

    This is a free family event that is great for elementary school age children. The fun starts around Orange Lake in Downtown New Port Richey from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. There will be games, prizes, and lots of candy for Trunk or Treating! The night continues with Movies in Sims Park, which is also free. They will be featuring the short movie Toy Story of Terror at about 7:00 pm followed by Hotel Transylvania at about 7:30 pm. Concessions will be available. Please remember to bring chairs or a blanket.

  4. Barktoberfest Super Adopt-a-Thon

    October 26, 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM @ Sims Park

    This will be a community event involving local area businesses who will show their support for this cause. Vendors, music, pet photography, raffles, kid’s contests, good food & fun for the whole family! Truck & Car Cruise In will be held around Orange Lake Park. Barktoberfest is Pasco County’s largest Dog Costume Contest!
